Facebook is a good way to share information with many of your friends simultaneously. For updates and information that are too lengthy to conveniently put in a status update, use the Facebook Notes feature. When creating a new note on Facebook, you type or paste in the information and publish it to your Facebook page. The information is easily accessible through the "Notes" tab on your Timeline or home page. A brief status post announcing the note appears on your Timeline to notify your friends of its creation.
1. Click on "Notes" in the left sidebar of your Facebook home page or on the Notes photo icon located to the right of your profile picture on your Timeline. You may need to expand the row of photo icons to locate the "Notes" icon.
2. Click on the "+ Write a Note" button at the top right on the Notes page.
3. Enter a title for the note in the Title text field.
4. Type or paste the large note in the Body text field. Use the tools provided in the toolbar above the text field to style the information if desired.
5. Add tags or a photo to the note using the tools provided below the text field.
6. Use the drop-down menu labeled "Privacy" to adjust who can view the note.
7. Click the blue "Publish" button to publish the large note to Facebook.
